Aleksei Golikov

I am a student at Togliatti Academy of Management.
The working experience I have include working in the financial department of one of Togliatti's banks, and my current activity is Internet-trading (I work as a dealer at the Moscow Interbank Stock Exchange implementing trades electronically).

On my third year of studying I was given an exciting opportunity to participate in on-line courses Operations Management and Marketing with the University of Michigan, Flint. That was my first experience of taking distance courses. I appreciate this chance and I tried to do my best to correspond to all courses' requirements. This experience is of great importance for me now because it was the real possibility to learn more about Americans, their culture, lifestyle, values and attitudes and adapt to a different cultural environment. I achieved this through direct participation in online chat sessions, mutual discussions and communication with American students.

Now having knowledge of contemporary marketing and operations management concepts developed by world-famous people and successfully applied in America I personally can adopt acquired knowledge to Russian environment and apply successfully to run business here in Russia.
