Aleksandrova Aleksandra This is the first time I take part in foreign online courses and it's my first experience of getting education by means of distant learning technology. To my mind the organizational part plays a very important role. There are no teachers in a traditional way. Here is only indirect control on your study: you just send your assignments and complete tasks, and get your grades. If you don't submit it on time - that's your own problem. As this course is conducted in English, it was a wonderful possibility to practice and improve my English. It was fun communicating with SOM students. Moreover, while participating in discussions you become aware that Russian and American mentality is really different. I like very much the organization of the online course, at least, I never had the situations when I was dissatisfied.
