PIME III
For the next stage of collaboration UMF and TAM has elaborated three-year
multi-faceted project (2002-2005). Complementing previous and concurrent
collaboration, the project extends, expands, and intensifies UMF/TAM partnership
activities. Project goals and objectives will be achieved through five
interrelated initiatives:
1) Engaging UMF and TAM faculty in joint online course/curriculum development
and delivery to expand the Western business content of TAM curricula and
enhance the international perspectives of faculty and students at both
institutions;
2) Conducting annual summer faculty workshops to assess and improve courses
and curriculum, systematically develop faculty expertise in online pedagogy
and technology, and foster faculty collaboration on consulting and research
projects;
3) Offering a select number of TAM student internships in the United States
with Western organizations whose operations exemplify best practices;
4) Supporting TAM in its pursuit of AACSB
International accreditation;
5) Developing private sector funding to sustain continuing collaborative
activities.
